- Log into the WordPress Dashboard
- From the WordPress dashboard click Plugins and then click Add New on the left hand side
- Search W3 Total Cache
- Click Install Now then click Activate
- On the left menu, you should now have a Performance section
- Click Performance and then click General Settings
- Scroll down the General Settings page ensuring that each main section is enabled
- The recommend settings are:
- Page Cache: Enabled (Disk: Enhanced)
- Database Cache: Enabled
- Object Cache: Enabled
- Browser Cache: Enabled
- Fragment Cache: Disk
