This article explains how to point a subdomain externally away from Web Hosting Hub using cPanel's Zone Editor. To complete these steps, the nameservers for the parent domain must be pointed to Web Hosting Hub. Access to cPanel will be needed to adjust DNS records.

- Log into cPanel
- Navigate to Subdomains in the Domains section, and confirm that the subdomain exists
- Create the subdomain if it does not currently exist
- Create the subdomain if it does not currently exist
- From cPanel, navigate to the Zone Editor
- Click Manage on the main domain where the subdomain exists
- On Filter, click on A to view the A records
- Click Edit next to the A record for the subdomain
- Enter the IP address where the subdomain is hosted
- Click Save Record
NOTE: Allow up to 24 hours for complete propagation.
TIP: Perform a host file modification if the subdomain must be accessed before propagation completes.
