Register New Domain

Web Hosting Hub is a domain reseller through Tucows, like many other companies. We are currently able to support the purchase of many different Top Level Domains (TLD). 

Remember that when choosing a .us extension, the owner must have a physical US address, which must be used, meaning that these domains are ineligible for privacy.

Here, we cover the steps to purchase a new domain registration with Web Hosting Hub. The current rates vary by TLD and renew annually per Domain Registration and Domain Privacy.

Register Domain

CAUTION: We do not allow the use of Punnycode or domains containing special characters.

1. While in AMP, select the Register Domain icon
   
   TIP: Alternatively, hover over Domains in the navigation bar and click on Register New Domain.
   
2. Enter the desired domain name in the text box, including the TLD you wish to use
   NOTE: Punycode domain names are not allowed.
   
   1. Click Search to check the availability 
      1. If the domain is already registered
         1. A message will appear indicating so
      2. Use the shown alternate domains available to assist with finalizing your selection for the domain and TLD extension
         
      3. Continue until a desired name is available
         TIP: If you have any eligible domain credits, they will show while searching the domain instead of the price.
         NOTE: Domain credits will only apply to .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz and .us TLDs.
         
   2. If the domain is available
      1. Confirm the spelling
      2. Click I Want This!
         
         
3. Select the term length, which at this time is only one year
   TIP: If a change to the domain is needed, click I want a different domain, below Add To Cart.
4. Uncheck the box if you decide you do not want Domain Privacy
   NOTE: Regardless of whether you get privacy, the Domain Registration owner information will be pulled from the contact information on file in your AMP. Having Domain Privacy allows your registrant information to remain private. Otherwise, the information from the account is used and visible to anyone who searches WhoIs or something similar.
   IMPORTANT: TLDs ending with .us are not able to have domain privacy since a valid US address is required in order to have a .us TLD. If requesting a .us extension, ensure a physical US address exists in the Contact Information section of your AMP.
   CAUTION: The pricing in the image is merely an example and is subject to change.
   
   
5. Click Add To Cart
   1. Add any other domains needed
6. Click Go To Your Cart, located in the confirmation the domain was added to the cart
   
   TIP: Alternatively, click the cart icon in the top right of the screen.
7. Review the order to ensure everything is correct
8. Select the correct payment to be used
9. Click Order to process payment
   IMPORTANT: For future renewals, please keep in mind that Domain Registrations (and Domain Privacy if purchasing) will attempt to renew 14 days in advance to avoid suspension.
   NOTE: Renewal Reminders, which can be changed, are sent 30 days before any renewal, which for domains would technically be 45 days prior due to the above IMPORTANT.
