Reset PrestaShop Admin Email Address

Here we will cover how to reset the Prestashop admin email address.

This method can be used if you need to change the administrator email address, but it cannot be used if you've forgotten the email address and are unable to log in.

The admin email address can be reset through the back office.

Update the Admin Email for PrestaShop Versions 1.7.x

1. Log into the PrestaShop Dashboard
2. Expand the Advanced Parameters menu in the pane on the left
   1. Select Team
      
      
3. Find the entry for the SuperAdmin and click the pencil icon to edit it
   
4. Change the email address in the Email address field
   1. Click Save on the bottom-right of the screen to save the change
      

Update the Admin Email for PrestaShop Versions < 1.7

1. Log into the back office of the PrestaShop site
2. Hover over Administration
3. Click on Employees
4. Find the account you would like to change and click Edit
5. Change the field's Email address
6. Press Save
