Configure Email on an iPhone or iPad

In this guide, we will explain the necessary steps to configure or add an email on an iPhone or iPad using the Mail application.

Adding the Account

1. Go to Settings
   
   
2. Select Mail
   
   
3. Select Accounts
   
   
4. Select Add Account
   
   
5. Select the mail provider Other
   
   
6. Select Add Mail Account
   
7. Enter the name, email address, password, and a description
   TIP: The name and description are decided by the user and can be set as desired.
   EXAMPLE:
   
8. Click Next
   NOTE: If prompted at any point to select POP or IMAP, IMAP is strongly recommended, especially on a mobile device.
9. Input the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server information
   TIP: The incoming and outgoing mail server can be set to the hostname of the account.  The hostname can be found under Account Technical Details.

10. If all settings are correct, click Save to finish
    NOTE: Mail should attempt to detect the server settings, including port and SSL.

11. When complete, ensure the account is being added to Mail and click Save
    
12. The new account will now be listed under Accounts

Accessing the Email

1. Navigate to Mail
   
2. If needed, select the Back button in the top left to return to the mail accounts overview
