These steps explain how to create folders in the Webmail client, Roundcube prior to creating filters. Creating additional folders can be helpful for organizing incoming email and is often used with email filters to sort messages into specific folders. Access to cPanel and Webmail will be needed to create folders in Roundcube.

TIP: Before creating any specific filters, create any folders and sub-folders that will be used regularly.
- Access the Roundcube client for any email account that you wish to create folders for
- Click the Settings icon on the column to the left of the Roundcube interface
- Click Folders in the Roundcube settings area
- Click the "+" icon labeled Create in the upper right corner to add a new folder
- Input the folder name you wish to use
- Select a parent folder (optional)
- Click Save
