Here we will cover how to update a domain's SPF and DKIM records when utilizing SpamExperts.
These records are crucial to ensure that sent emails do not end up in spam. Without SPF and DKIM records, emails are not fully authenticated, and many email hosts will automatically filter them as spam.
When using SpamExperts, the SPF and DKIM setup steps are a bit different than normal. We will cover the steps here.

Updating an Existing SPF Record
- Log into cPanel
- Click on Zone Editor, located in the Domains section
- Click Manage for the appropriate domain
- Select the TXT filter
- Locate the current SPF record for the domain
TIP: The SPF record's value begins withv=spf1
. - Edit the record to include
a:6205.submission.antispamcloud.com a:release.antispamcloud.com
EXAMPLE:
Before:v=spf1 +mx +a +ip4:XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX -all
After:v=spf1 +mx +a +ip4:XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX a:6205.submission.antispamcloud.com a:release.antispamcloud.com -all
- Click Save Record
Creating a New SPF Record
- Log into cPanel
- Click on Zone Editor, located in the Domains section
- Click Manage for the appropriate domain
- Click + Add Record
- Create the following record:
- Name: domain.com.
REPLACE: domain.com with the domain being worked on. - TTL: 900
- Type: TXT
- Record:
"v=spf1 include:spf.antispamcloud.com -all"
- Name: domain.com.
- Click Save Record
DKIM Setup
- Log into cPanel
- If a DKIM record has already been created through the Email Deliverability page in cPanel, a new one does not need to be created
- If a DKIM record still needs to be created, one can be added through the Email Deliverability page now
NOTE: Creating a DKIM record using the article above will create a record for the MTA. This will not cause any problems with SpamExperts, but if a DKIM record needs to be added on SpamExpert's end for any reason, SpamExperts' documentation should be consulted.
