Here we explain the steps to follow if a website experiences an outage for an unknown reason. This includes checking for any outages using the Web Hosting Hub Status page as well as checking for any billing issues in the Account Management Panel (AMP).
Checking the Reason for Site Outage
- Check the Web Hosting Hub Status page
- If there are any status issues that are affecting your server, there will be a link to determine what server you are on
- If affected by an outage, please be patient and check the status page regularly, we will be working to resolve any issues noted
- If there are any status issues that are affecting your server, there will be a link to determine what server you are on
- If there are no status issues, return to the homepage of AMP
- Hover over the Billing menu and click My Subscriptions
- Review the Renewal Date for the hosting and domain registration for the site that is down
- If either the hosting or the domain is past due, this could be the reason for the site not loading. Renew the expired item and allow 5 to 10 minutes for records to update, clear the cache and try reloading the site
NOTE: If the hosting plan is over 7 days past due, please reach out to the Billing department directly to process the renewal so that we can ensure all services are restarted.
