Horde provides a stable and featureful individual calendar system for every Horde user, with integrated collaboration/scheduling features. This guide will explain the steps to subscribe and synchronize calendars from webmail using Horde over to Thunderbird.

Obtaining the Calendar Location
IMPORTANT: In order to use the Horde Calendar, port 2080, used by CalDAV, needs to be open on the server. As such, this functionality is only available on VPS+ hosting accounts. Shared server environments do not have this function currently available. If assistance is needed to open port 2080, please reach out to our technical support.
- Log into webmail using the Horde Webmail Client
- If entered into Roundcube, change the client to Horde
- Open the Calendar tab on the menu bar and click on it
- Click on the Edit Icon for the calendar on the left menu
- Click on the Subscription tab and copy the desired URL

NOTE: Any of the provided URLs will work, but each may provide slightly different calendars if multiple calendars have been created.
Adding the Calendar to Thunderbird
- Open Thunderbird and click on the Calendar Icon
- Right-click under Calendar and click New Calendar
- Select On the Network. click next
- Enter the email Username and calendar Location and select Find Calendars
EXAMPLE: - On the following prompt, enter the email account password
- Select the calendars to subscribe to and click Subscribe

TIP: The calendar name and other settings can be adjusted by clicking Properties next to the calendar. - The calendar has now been subscribed
