Here we cover how to process a change to the hosting plan term. Processing a change of the plan term will keep the current term length until the next renewal date. At that time you will be charged the amount shown under Renewal Price and then you will notice the Renewal Date has moved out accordingly. If any term changes are made, some add-on subscriptions may update to the new term length.
Change Hosting Plan Term
- While in AMP, hover over the Billing tab and select My Subscriptions
- Locate the line item for the hosting plan in question and click the Change Term button
- Click the drop-down, Select Renewal Term, to see the other term options available for your hosting plan
NOTE: Processing a change of the plan term will keep the current term length until the next renewal date. On that renewal date, you will be charged the amount shown under Renewal Price, and then the Renewal Date will adjust accordingly.
- As soon as you select an option, a box will appear displaying the new term and the renewal cost, along with an acknowledgment that you must review and check to agree to
NOTE: If a hosting plan has linked add-ons, the box will provide term change information for those as well.
TIP: If you hit cancel, no changes are made, and you are returned to the My Subscriptions page. - Select Change Term to process the change
- Once the page reloads, click Submit at the bottom of the page
TIP: As soon as you submit the chosen option, you will see a note that the Renewal Term Updated Successfully to confirm the change was processed
