If you encounter a suspended message while attempting to send emails, it indicates that your outgoing email has been suspended. This situation can be frustrating as it hinders your ability to communicate effectively via email.
To resolve this issue, it is recommended to ensure the email account itself is not restricted, then if needed reach out to our support team. By promptly addressing this matter, you can regain your ability to send emails, ensuring uninterrupted communication and minimizing any inconvenience caused by the suspension.
The error may appear as the following.
SMTP Error 550 Outgoing mail from "user@domain.com" has been suspended
Determine If Suspended
- Verify the problem exists by trying to send an email using Webmail
- Log into cPanel
- Click on Email Accounts, located in the Email section
- Locate the email account
- Click on Check Email
- Send a test email, and see if it arrives
- You can also check in Track Delivery, located in the Email section of cPanel to see any errors were reported
- Log into cPanel
- Confirm email account is not suspended in cPanel
- Click on Email Accounts
- Locate the email account
- Click Manage
- Scroll down to Restrictions
- Confirm none of the radio buttons are set to Suspend
- Click on Email Accounts
- Check the email you receive correspondence from us with, such as receipts to see if you received an email from our Systems department regarding a suspension
- If you do not find an email regarding a suspension, and the email did not have outgoing email suspended, contact our Technical Support
